Surprisingly, we all have some crazy weird superstition in our mind and it seems that our cricketers have it too.
1. Virat Kohli
The captain and the most promising batsman, Virat Kohli admitted to being a little superstitious. In his statement to Kolkata Telegraph he said “Earlier, I used to wear the same pair of gloves with which I’d been scoring. That phase has gone as now I look for comfort. Now the superstition revolves around wearing black wristbands.”
2. Sachin Tendulkar
Even the Master Blaster has some superstition. He believes in a lucky leg pad. Apparently, it was gifted to him by his brother. He reportedly wears it on his left leg for a while before every match.
3. Virender Sehwag
There was a time when Sehwag used to adorn the jersey which had the number 44. He used to consider it lucky and at one particular time, he actually hit many runs. But after he hit his rough patch, his numerologist advised him to forgo the numbers. He also wore the black vest with it.
He also always carried a red handkerchief in his left pocket when he is out in the field.
4. Sourav Ganguly
He always made sure his guru’s photo was in his pocket whenever on the field.
5. Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh’s birthday falls on 12th December(12/12) and he believes that to be his lucky number. So, that’s even his jersey number. He also wears a black thread that he wears on his wrist.
